Job Description

This position is critical in GIO as process engineering is at heart of GSK bio core business.  Those technologies are key to deliver antigens in order to have sustainable business.  This position requires a high level of seniority as the incumbent will be responsible to deliver customized equipment to 18 sites of the network


Your responsibilities:


You will secure projects implementation through an international network (>18 sites):

  • You design, develop, order and validate specific customized equipment in RACI 3 as a doer for primary and secondary operation
  • You write technical specifications, benchmark and compare recommend supplier
  • In CAPEX  projects, you perform on the field equipment adaptation and validation
  • You execute or advice on Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT & SAT), perform or supervise qualification (IQ/OQ).

You will support sites end-users in support and troubleshooting:

  • As an expert with deep knowledge of SOPs and best practices, you act as coordinator, understand and fix problems directly on the shop floor
  • You advise solutions by involving your network in addressing complex issues in primary and secondary

You will develop others:

  • You develop their own expertise; you share your expertise within MSAT team and develops skilled individuals in Manufacturing technologies by hand on training 
  • You develop site technical capabilities by sharing best practices between sites and by managing (eg by assessment) your pool of Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the network.  You recommend to site the organization / structure / training to achieve and maintain their own capability
  • You will help trains and coach future end-users to take ownership of new process, equipment and facility

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


  • You have a degree qualification in a scientific / engineering discipline, with further specialist in upstream, downstream and secondary
  • You have a proven knowledge of Vaccine Manufacturing Processes (viral, bacterial, and recombinant) and good understanding of associated activities such as logistics
  • You have min 3 years of experience in your domain of expertise and on the top a proven experience 5-10 in pharmaceuticals production
  • You have good/excellent communication skills in French and English (oral & written) You are able to solve problems
