  • According to the supervisor’s direction and plant production guidance, implement the correct production procedures and direct shifts’ activities to ensure the production completed timely in quality and quantity. Optimizing technical processes, procedures and be responsible for innovation in the responsible units

Main Tasks:

Responsible Care

  • According to corporate, company and statutory EHS requirements, support to implement the relevant safety and environment protection policies and procedures in Chemcycling mini plant and to fulfill company commitment to Responsible Care. Support EHS management to prevent process, safety incidents.

Production planning

  • Planning, implement and check current and future operation requirements on production process. Coordinate and arrange monthly/weekly/daily production activities. Effect corrections and make timely adjustments if necessary to ensure the timely production with target output.
  • Work in organizing trial production and implementing plant optimization to ensure the production capability and availability are able to cope with the agreed production/trial planning.

Plant process optimization

  • Responsible for performing detailed process analyses, identifying of (preventive) optimization levers, defining solution concepts for the plants in BDO, THF distillation and PTHF units.
  • Supporting for the setup of a medium to long term operational process management strategy
  • Choice and sustainable use of optimization tools for the process optimization in BDO, THF distillation and PTHF units
  • Further development of automation
  • Identify, recommend and implement technical changes to improve productivity and availability of responsible units and reduce production cost, monitor and reduce costs on wastes.

Operational training

  • Creation and development of qualification concepts
  • Updating qualification documentation
  • Education and training of operators in the plant


  • Responsible for development and documentation of plant safety and environmental concepts
  • Inquiry into EHS events and implementation of preventive or corrective measures
  • Collaboration in licensing procedures
  • Initiating and setting up of plant modifications/investments with focus on asset safety

Material management

  • Oversee coordination of purchasing functions, e.g. order quantities and delivery dates of raw materials.

Maintenance and repairing

  • Together with other plant management and maintenance department, establish and oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance and repairing programs according to machinery/equipment specifications and the utilization to ensure no interruption in production process and efficient use of machinery/equipment


  • Develop and maintain a computerized integrated record keeping system for efficient/effective production. Properly archive all complex related documents and ensure no major deviation in accordance with company standards and ISO requirement.


  • Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent as minimum requirement
  • Working Experience: 5+ years chemical plant production experience
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Major in Chemical Engineering, good English, Good communication skill and interpersonal understanding.
