Your Role:

As a Senior Process Engineer in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Project Management group, you will collaborate with Global Central Engineering for complex projects and manage more straightforward capital projects. After project closure, you will act as the local, on-site process engineer for process discipline expertise, troubleshooting and process continuous improvement. You will interact very closely with project management, site operations, process safety, and the process development group in the execution of the responsibilities of this position.

 

 

Who You Are:

  • To succeed in this role, you will need to work collaboratively with personnel from process, technology, engineering, and operations to translate technical requirements and product development plans into tactical options and actions
  • You will actively mentor and train less experienced operations resources to ensure consistency in evaluation and implementation of best practices while sharing subject matter expertise as necessary
  • You will support the assessment of process safety through Design Hazard Review (DHR) and Operational Plant Hazard Review (OPHR) activities
  • As a subject matter expert, you will need to be responsive to requests for help and explanations of process technology

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or other related discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in operations and process design of chemical processes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering or other related discipline
  • Good leadership, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills combined with good communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience and knowledge in the technology and/or operation of systems used in the manufacturing, purification, filling and storage of Electronics materials
  • A working knowledge and experience of Electronics requirements for materials, packaging, products, and processes
  • Formal training and experience with Six Sigma processes and continuous improvement tools
  • Experienced in MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
  • Able to work within a matrix engineering team environment and communicate effectively with team members and project managers
  • Professional experience with manufacturing processes, as well as knowledge of materials of construction for Electronics Materials production
