Organization Overview

Within the Engineering Function of the Production Site, the Insulin Module has the responsibility to manage, conduct and keep in a validated status. It is composed by different sub departments: Formulation, Filling, Visual inspection and Ancillary. The Process Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Insulin Senior Manager and he/she is the primary contact for everyday issues and every other aspect related to the system under his/her responsibility.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Be the SME for all the systems under his/her responsibility
  • Work with the Operational Support Team to ensure that all the WO are correctly closed before the due date and the maintenance programs are adequately implemented
  • Analyze KPI for PM, WO execution, HSE, Quality and Data Integrity aspects and evaluate projects to improve them
  • Identify anomalies and issues happening on the systems and work with the Team to solve them and avoid recurrencies
  • Propose upgrade/revamping initiative to make systems more reliable and more efficient
  • Ensure systems top efficiency, availability and performance
  • Develop, integrate and review SOPs and Technical Assessments on the system under his/her responsibility
  • Lead and manage Projects and Changes regarding systems under his/her responsibility
  • Plan Shut Down activities and work with the Insulin Maintenance Manager Shut Down period in order to complete all the tasks assigned
  • Interact with internal stakeholder to understand their needs and propose an adequate plan of action
  • Interface with external contractors in case of needs or to involve them on projects when required

Minimum requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical)
  • Attention to HSE aspects
  • Attention to Quality and Data Integrity aspects
  • English fluency (minimum B2 level)

Additional skills/preferences:

  • At least 2 years of experience in engineering, maintenance or technical support, preferably in a Pharma Company
  • Knowledge of maintenance basics and its metrics
  • Knowledge of Ancillary Equipment
  • Knowledge of PED directive and other regulation related to machinery (Machinery Directive, etc..)
  • Attitude to Teamworking and Problem Solving
  • Capability to work under pressure
  • Multitasking attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
