We are seeking a professional like you to join our team at our site in Cincinnati, OH.  In this role, you will be responsible for technical support and continual improvement of chemical processes and related systems.

Formula for Success



    Leveraging your Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field and professional experience in a chemical plant environment, you will conceive, developed, and implement improvements in the areas of Process Reliability, Efficiency, Control, Safety, Environmental Performance, Compliance, and Reporting.   Utilizing your knowledge of chemical plant unit operations, you will develop expertise in our chemical processes and utilities. You will serve as a resource in resolving technical issues and reviewing equipment information/operating parameters to ensure they meet design intentions.   Utilizing your excellent problem-solving skills and analytic skills, you will conceive, design, advocate for, and drive process changes that improve yields, decrease cycle times, reduce waste, and reduce energy consumption.  This involves providing detailed calculations, organizing pilot trials, and conducting feasibility studies to facilitate process optimization projects. Excellent planning, scheduling, and facilitation skills will serve you well as you implement improvement measures.   Utilizing your digital skills in DCS (Emerson Delta-V) controls, you will implement solutions to improve process stability/control/efficiency by programing and configuring DCS systems to assist in making process changes or troubleshooting.   Championing process safety in daily operations, you will support plant production units by providing the knowledge necessary to maintain a safe operation.  This includes implementing PSM Requirements, implementing recommendations from safety experts, participating in PHA’s, and executing Management of Change (MOC).   You will adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA regulations, and OSHA regulations by protecting the environment, health, safety and security of our employees.   Good listening and communication skills will be important as you provide training to operations personnel at start-up of new process changes and interact with coworkers from multiple disciplines.   Personal computer expertise is essential as you write and manage detailed operating procedures, assemble data on plant process performance, and participate in operational/financial reporting.   You will ensure processes and systems developed are consistent with delivering consistent quality product to customers and meeting specifications, including Automotive and GMP requirements.
