Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recuiting a Prodcution on the Scott platform on a core basis. Rotation for this position is 3/4, 3/5.

Basic Functions

To carry out the operation of Oil Process, Gas Process, Water Plant and Utilities, chemical storage and chemical injection systems safely and efficiently and to ensure safe management of the installation

Principal Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safe and efficient operation of process plant, systems and association equipment
  • Starts-up, operates, optimises and shut down process and process-related plant, gas injection, water treatment, gas systems etc.
  • Take samples of process fluids and produced water and to analyse samples
  • Doses or treats the process with chemicals or other agents as required
  • Ensure safe management of chemicals
  • To operate the DCS system, well control equipment and panel and process and process-related valving
  • Make adjustments to production streams and well streams
  • Assist contractor personnel and Technical Department
  • Carry out work in a safe and responsible manner and ensure that the PTW system is adhered to.
  • Work toward AI/IV status

Skills / Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent relevant to discipline
  • Previous experience in similar role onshore or offshore
  • S/NVQ 3 - Processing Hydrocarbons
  • BOSIET
  • MIST
