As a member of Chemical Development, you will use your technical knowledge and expertise to scale up the process for primary manufacture and contribute to the development and deployment of state-of-the-art processes and technologies to enable the delivery of our medicines. Chemical Development supports the small molecule portfolio in GSK Pharma R&D and develops the manufacturing routes and processes that turn those molecules into medicines.
Process Engineering delivers technical knowledge and chemical engineering expertise to support the development of small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing processes at GSK. As projects advance through development, process engineers support project teams by performing laboratory studies and developing process models to effectively transfer manufacturing processes to pilot scale.
We are seeking a chemical engineer to deliver first-principles engineering modeling work to support the scale-up of chemical processes. The role is fast-paced and dynamic, and you will be working on multi-disciplinary teams.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
BS in Chemical Engineering with 3-5 years relevant industry experience with an emphasis on developing mechanistic models for chemical processes.
Experience with engineering software such as Dynochem, Aspen or gPROMS
