As our Senior Process Engineer (Water) you will deliver clean water process design solutions from initial definition of need through optioneering, solution development, detail design and construction / commissioning support.
As part of an integrated, multidiscipline design-delivery team the role will require a collaborative approach ensuring effective communication and engagement with Project Teams, Supply Chain and Client Engineering / Operational representatives.
CMDP is a Joint Venture between Costain and MWHT based on a 50/50 share relationship. The Joint Venture was initially formed in 2015 to deliver the 5 year (2015 – 2020) AMP6 (Process) Programme in South East England (East Sussex and Kent) for Southern Water. The Delivery Contract was worth £200 million over 5 years. The success of this partnership means that CMDP have been awarded a follow- up contract of AMP 7, delivering a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & East Sussex).
Experience of clean water process design in a design-build environment
Ability to span projects from solution development through to ‘hands on’ process commissioning support on site - Collaborative working within multi-disciplinary design and delivery teams - Degree in an engineering-related discipline
Must be delivery-driven with the ability to manage workload to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives
Technical and management skills
Able to identify and manage process elements of project/programme risk
Able to identify and manage process change to project scope
