Chemical Engineer

CK Technical are recruiting for a Chemical Engineer to join our client at their site based in Carlisle. This is a full time, permanent position.

Company: This company works across a variety of sectors. They provide the design and manufacture of drying, calcining and related plant and equipment to the chemical, mineral, pharmaceutical, waste to energy and food industries.

Location: This Chemical Engineer role will be based at our clients manufacturing site in Carlisle. They are based just off the M6 and are easy to reach from main transport links.

Salary: A very competitive salary based upon experience is available.

Chemical Engineer Role:

• Provide technical support within an existing project team.
• Carry out project assessments and sizing calculations for drying equipment.
• Liaise with customers over technical requirements.
• Provide equipment specifications.
• Provide reports and proposals for drying equipment.
• Assist in the execution of projects.
• Assist with commissioning activities on customers' sites.
• Carry out process surveys on production plants.
• Carry out test work on customers' materials within their house test centre.

Your Background:

• MEng or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.· At or working towards chartered status.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to travel, including overseas.
