As a Packaging Process Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind a smooth, high-quality packaging process. You'll monitor efficiency, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure technical optimizations. Together with your team, you'll strive for operational excellence and have the following responsibilities:
Improving efficiency and eliminating bottlenecks
Perform root cause analyses for quality issues
Implement technical changes within deadlines
Actively contribute to the growth of the department
Support for operational deviations and escalations
Collaborate on the follow-up of the production plan

What we are looking for in you
Master's degree in industrial/civil/bio-engineering or (industrial) pharmacist, or equivalent through experience
Technically strong and analytically minded
Communicative, independent and accurate
Good oral and written communication in Dutch and English is necessary to perform the position.
The Pfizer site in Puurs is one of Pfizer's largest production and packaging sites worldwide, specializing in aseptic production and packaging. More than 400 million doses of injectable vaccines and medicines are produced annually in Puurs. These are packaged on-site in ampoules, vials, plastic bottles, syringes, and pen cartridges.
The medicines produced in Puurs are intended for patients in more than 170 countries worldwide. 30% of Puurs' production is destined for developing countries, in collaboration with UNICEF, WHO, GAVI, and NGOs.
By using two wind turbines, solar panels and a combined heat and power plant, we focus on renewable energy.
