An urgent opportunity has arisen for a Machining Process Planning Engineer to support our global automotive client in Sunderland for a project through to March 2020. The successful engineer support the planning and introduction of new products and processes into a vehicle manufacturing site in the North East.

Experience and Qualifications Required: • Engineering degree with experience of high volume machining and manufacturing

• Have a natural analytical and logical approach to problem solving

• Demonstrable planning, scheduling and Project Management experience

• CNC Programming skills desirable (Siemens) • Capability to plan and deliver new product launches on schedule and to budget

• Offer installation and buyoff support of new facilities

• Capable of managing revenue and capital expenditure within budget, generating cost reduction ideas when possible

• Understanding of Quality Control processes and process capabilities improvements i.e. CP/CPK To meet with current legislation right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work within the UK.
