PROCESS ENGINEER - SURREY - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)
A leading healthcare manufacturing organisation are looking for a Process Engineer to join their plant in Surrey on a permanent basis.
The core function of the role will be to supply Technical Support across Manufacturing, providing expertise in their specialist field to deliver improvement projects and new product introductions, to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and success of Manufacturing and Operations to the business.
The role holder will act as the subject matter expert to support delivery of medium to long term projects, identifying opportunities for process improvements for healthcare products. Other duties include:
* Providing technical/process knowledge and expertise for quality events in all areas of manufacturing process
* Lead identification of root cause analysis and implementation of effective CAPAs
* Supporting Validation activities for commercial manufacturing, ensuring processes are maintained
* Investigating quality and complaints issues from customers
* Identify opportunities for process improvement
In order to be considered candidates will need to hold a relevant Degree in a Process or Mechanical Engineering discipline. Candidates must have worked in a similar role within a regulated manufacturing environment (Automotive/Food/Pharma). You will have experience working with LEAN methodologies and experience with six-sigma would be advantageous.
Candidates will need to be flexible to meet changing demands. You will also be confident to liaise with multiple departments and deliver tangible solutions to strict deadlines.
