Tough competition for this opportunity
Historically this role has attracted a large number of applicants. We have the following guidance for the content of your application:
*You should be expecting (or have received)a grade of 2:1 over, although exceptions will be made depending on other factors.
*Any work experience, placement years or involvement in special purpose machinery would be to you advantage. Likewise, any process engineering or pilot plant operation would be good.
State the nature of your dissertation and be prepared to discuss the intricacies of the project.
You must have a well presented, and well thought out application. Avoid generic statements about how nice you are - make sure you are communicating your chemical engineering and commercial acumen.
