Job Title: Process Engineer
Genesis is a multi-discipline engineering consultancy servicing the oil and gas industry.
The purpose of job is to produce deliverables under the direction/supervision of a Lead/Principal Engineer.
This involves performing design calculations and assisting in the performance of Engineering and Field Development studies

• Skills Group Leader; Project Managers; Discipline Leads; other discipline Engineers
• Authorities; Contractors
Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
•Assist with preparation, checking or approving Engineering deliverables
•Contribute to Basis for Design and Project Specifications
•Assist with Engineering Studies (& Simulations where appropriate)
•Running of proprietary software & design packages.
•Performing engineering calculations (e.g. equipment & line sizing).
•Production of engineering documents (e.g. P&IDs, data sheets).
•Production of technical notes for reporting of study results.
•Assist with estimation of equipment and facilities capital cost estimates.
•May participate in aspects of Project safety issues when required
•UK Offshore Survival Certificate requirements (UK); In Country & Project specific (Offshore &/or Overseas); otherwise Genesis Standard Office Procedures.
Typical background and experience required:
•First Degree in Engineering (minimum)
• 0-3 years experience in relevant Oil and Gas industry sector
•Good Communicator and strong team player
•Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.
•Full command of English language written and spoken
