Project Manager - Chemical Industry
I am currently looking for a Project Manager with process engineering projects experience to work on multiple smaller projects within a live chemical plant near Birchwood. The client has an immediate need for a project manager to join them delivering a broad range of MEICA projects.
The role will suit a Project Manager with experience in any process plant industry (chemical / pharma / petrochem) who has a strong track record of managing a large portfolio of multidisciplinary projects on a live plant. The role will entail delivering smaller packages of works with a multi-discipline team.
Project Manager Specification:
START: ASAP – Immediate (Interviews next week)
LOCATION: Birchwood, UK North West
DURATION: 6 Month Contract
RATES: Market Rates
Project Management experience (5-10+ years).
Process Plant Environment / Industry background.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams (mechanical / electrical / controls systems engineers).
Experience managing projects within a live plant environment (turnaround/shut-downs)
The client is looking for a hand on project manager
Experience with powder or dry materials projects is very beneficial
Powder Handling / Chemical Engineering Background
Project Management Qualifications (APMP / Prince2)
The client works on the production of powder/dry related products. This role requires a Project Manager who can manage smaller multidisciplinary projects within their live plant to maintain the running of the plant. The role is working on the constant improvement and upgrading of the plant.
Reporting to the Process Director, the role will incorporate managing multidisciplinary teams across a portfolio of projects with a value of £1.5-2m.
The client has an immediate requirement and will be able to interview next week.
