Job Description: 

Are you passionate about driving change in the energy sector? Genesis Energies France is seeking an energetic and dedicated Energy Engineer to join our team of 20 dynamic professionals working on cutting-edge energy transition projects. As an Intern with us, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of initiatives, including Green Hydrogen and Ammonia, Sustainable Aviation Fuels, Renewable Energy, and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the preparation of proposals.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Genesis' in-house tools.
• Participate in ad hoc studies and market assessments.
• Support process and energy transition projects at various stages, including Early Advisory, Concept, Feasibility, and Pre-FEED. This involves producing process deliverables, economic models, optimization studies, general reports, market assessments and presentations.
• Contribute to internal initiatives at Genesis.
• Ensure the creation of case studies post-project completion.
• Update lessons learned tool for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for a final year student at a top engineering school, ideally specializing in energy with knowledge in Renewable Energy, CCUS, and PtX.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, or Electrical).
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of programming (VBA, Python) and data analysis tools (Power BI) is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with responsiveness, autonomy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
• A team player with a focus on achieving results, structured in work approach, and well-organized.

During this internship, you will be reporting to a senior consultant, who shall also be your tutor/mentor to answer any questions you may have. This internship will be an opportunity for you to improve your skills and knowledge, as well as contribute to exciting projects.
