We have now more than a dozen ongoing projects in various phases of development and we are ready for our biggest challenge yet: delivering the carbon capture plant at the Norcem cement plant in Brevik, Norway. This will be the world's first CO2-capture facility at a cement plant.

Aker Carbon Capture is experiencing a high demand for our services and need to strengthen our capabilities in the area of executing studies and projects. We are now looking to strengthen our team even further.


The Role
As a Senior/Specialist Process Engineer, you will:

• contribute to the development of cost-effective processes and products
• contribute to standardization and general effective execution of CCUS projects
• contribute to CCUS early studies
• provide input to, and implement CCUS technology in projects

Who you are?
You have:

• PhD or Master's degree in engineering (or similar) with minimum 5 years’ experience. Shorter experience may be compensated by strong academic skills
• multidisciplinary understanding with strong communication skills
• experience from land-based industry is preferable
• experience in use of state-of-the-art simulation/calculation tools for the discipline, preferably with experience from CO2 handling

You are:

• self-contained and motivated, with passion to environmental projects
• flexible regarding work tasks and possible practical field work, as required
• systematic
• fluent in written and spoken English
