Our client is a leading, international consultant to the mid and downstream sectors with globally acknowledged strengths in strategic development, technology assessment and licensing, M&A, due diligence, operational profit improvement, feasibility studies, LP Modelling, asset valuation, business interruption assessments etc. Our client’s clients include investors, banks, regulatory and governmental bodies, operating and production companies and so on. The role will, ideally, suit an individual with significant experience of refinery /petrochemical operations technical support, planning and optimisation as well as consulting.  Demonstrable exposure to refinery modelling for unit upgrades and debottlenecking including familiarity with recognised linear programming software, a good understanding of refinery economics and commercial issues and a solid grasp of the broader issues driving the industry, including product specification, investment requirements, BI, supply/demand balance, GTL threat, product price and demand forecasting, is highly desirable in addition to experience of design assessment / review and, ideally, development.
