Senior process engineer and scientist

Starting salary: Circa £62,000 dependent on experience

This role will involve you reporting to the managing director and you will be responsible for a dedicated technical department of chartered and graduate chemical engineers and scientists, ensuring high compliance and process efficiency. You will be a great motivator to our technical staff and enhance their competence and expertise, while contributing to innovative process solutions that enhance the sustainability and growth of GENeco.
This is an important position within GENeco and requires a technically competent, self-motivated, diligent, accurate and free-thinking individual. While you may be a chartered chemical engineer/scientist, it is desirable that you have a sound theoretical knowledge of:
- activated sludge systems (fixed film and suspended growth)
- anaerobic digestion systems, food and municipal
- thermal systems, heat exchange, gas engines, and biogas purification plant.
Practical, operational and/or commissioning experience is desirable. As well as having great organisation skills to structure your time and resources in order to achieve the best results for the company.
