While on the program, participants are able to develop their engineering and professional skills as well as get a better understanding of their areas of interest and strengths. The program consists of three rotations that include different locations and assignments with 12-month durations. Typical assignments for chemical engineers may include plant operations, process engineering, production engineering, project engineering, start-up engineering, and controls engineering.

Recent graduates who received a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, or rising seniors pursuing such degrees, will be considered for the CDP program.
