TITLE: Senior Chemical Engineer / Senior Process Engineer
LOCATION: Ireland / Leinster / Carlow / Kildare / Laois
CONTRACT: Initial 12 month contract with an estimated assignment duration of 24 months


*Assist in Process Design scope with the Process Lead based on Process Requirements.

*Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure project and site stakeholder inputs and requirements are clear and reflected in design deliverables.

*Liaise between project stake holders ensuring all involved parties are informed and consulted on key process activities.

*Issue reports to monitor progress of process milestones with team members

*Perform essential design deliverables and oversee design progression.

*Develop Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, User Requirement Specifications and Equipment Specifications to ensure Process Descriptions/Needs are met.

*Support Commissioning and Qualification Lead to coordinate preparation and lead FATs/C&Q field execution.

*Review system life cycle documents including Critically and Risk assessments, FAT documentation, and C&Q documentation.

*Manage start-up of process systems through OQ completion

*Occasionally undertake Project Engineering duties including: preparation of project related deliverables such as schedules, work plans, equipment cost tracking coordination of project activities between stakeholders


-Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or equivalent discipline

-Minimum of 5 years Quality Team experience in pharmaceuticals or Medical device

-Demonstrated ability to lead / influence teams in matrix environment

-Excellent communication/presentation/organisational skills

-Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.

-In depth understanding of process engineering and technologies pertinent to unit operations including Closed-Process Formulation, Depyrogenation Tunnel, Isolated Filling & Capping, Automated Parts Washing, Autoclave Sterilization, Mobile Process Vessels, Bioburden reduction/Sterile Filtration, and CIP/SIP.
