Internal Technical Sales Person
Our client, part of a highly successful international equipment and technology group, develops designs, fabricates and supplies a range of separation systems including mixer, centrifuge and coalescing technology for a wide range of operating companies and process applications associated with the chemical manufacturing and environmental controls sectors.
This is an internal sales role providing sales and administrative support for routine client enquiries leading to confirmed awards. The job holder will prepare and negotiate sales proposals according to company rules and procedures, support the external sales team through the provision of high quality, timely responses to enquiries generated, liaise with key suppliers over pricing and delivery time, review contracts and the management of projects from bid stage through to purchase order and final delivery, input all data onto programme tracking, contracts and sales management software (Sulprice and CRM) , contribute to sales meetings , deputise for the contracts manager ,support contracts staff with logistics and shipping , the preparation of drawings , project documentation and invoicing and accounts.
A solid technical education (possibly at technician level), in an engineering discipline (chemical, mechanical, electrical, control for example), is required in addition to proven experience in equipment sales, marketing and commercial support. Familiarity with CT design and CAD software would be a distinct advantage.
