Our client, part of an international process technology group, occupies a market  leading position within the gases and air separation sector developing, designing, engineering and installing  standalone process units that are integral to major plants in a diverse range of industries including refining, chemicals, metals, pharmaceuticals and so on .The units are either provided and operated under license or sold as a project package. The design process for the technology is technically challenging involving complex thermodynamics and pressure issues.

Suiting an emerging, pre-chartered engineer, the job holder will evaluate customer requirements and contribute to  the definition of a scope, size and select process equipment, prepare process calculations including estimates for product flow and utility consumption, prepare all documentation including data sheets and PFD’s and P&ID’s ,support installation and commissioning and provide evaluation of post installation actual plant performance .Our client is looking for a highly numerate engineer with a strong academic background and a basic  track record in software based process deign . Familiarity with industry standard simulation tools is considered highly advantageous: knowledge of UNISM would be helpful. A recently qualified junior engineer with a compelling educational background may also be considered .
