Our client is a world-class consulting and software licensing business whose offering is critical to the design, operation and management of hydrocarbon processing facilities owned by independents, majors and NOC’s globally.  The organisation’s technical solutions add value by maximising revenues, minimising costs, minimising capital employed, or helping to maintain a client's licence to operate. The solutions are tangible, compelling and improve the performance of existing operating assets and assist in the "buy or build" decisions for new ones, either minimising their capital cost, making them more profitable, safe and efficient once in operation, or ensuring they meet desired portfolio management objectives.

The business’s strong operational insight and expertise, is supported by significant experience of offshore /petroleum engineering and the use of a suite of advanced proprietary software tools that are also available to clients directly under license. These focus on flow assurance, subsea/topside system integration and LOF studies.

The appointee will be responsible for developing and leading all aspects of the team including its advisory /consultancy services, the support of its software business , the generation of strategy and winning new  business Activities will include reservoir / field analysis, production engineering, process facilities engineering, field development planning, flow assurance, reservoir and completion engineering .The roles requires a strong fundamental understanding of asset reviews including production performance and optimisation. A good appreciation of the benefits and applications of modern transient and steady state process, FA and reservoir software tools would be a distinct advantage.

Candidates should have extensive upstream experience with strong production and process facility analysis exposure in conventional and unconventional production a distinct advantage .Ideally, some, or all of this, will have been acquired with a major operating company The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for leading the development, sale and delivery of upstream projects and software activities and meeting the groups growth and financial targets.
