As Chemical Engineer, some of your core tasks and challenges will include;
*Contributing to the delivery of a range of Chemical Process Engineer projects ranging in size and scope
*Providing expert Chemical Engineering advice and process studies or research investigations
*Helping to prioritise and coordinate a varied project portfolio that includes plant upgrades, installations and process improvements
*Overseeing the full lifecycle of Chemical Process Engineering projects from conception through to commissioning and delivery
*Providing Chemical Process Engineering support to the Operational/Manufacturing teams
*Designing plant layouts and equipment and preparing specification
*Identifying and initiating process improvement projects to further develop efficiency on the site
*Providing leadership and strategy to the Process Engineering team
The role of Chemical Engineer will suit an individual that can build on their existing skills and experience, which should already include;
*A chemical engineering degree from an IChemE accredited institution, with a number of years post education experience
*Experience within chemical manufacturing, ideally on a COMAH site
*Chartered Chemical Engineer or working towards
*Demonstrable understanding and use of process safety tools
*Strong plant and equipment design experience
*High level of health and safety awareness
