Our client, a plastic moulding supplier for the automotive industry, are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Working Hours - Split shift system - Occasional Overseas travel will be required

As a Process Engineer you will be providing processing support to clients existing production and quality teams.
As well as your processing knowledge our client seeks to imbed within their company a lean manufacturing culture. Working with existing Six Sigma Yellow/Green and Black belts to identify continuous improvement opportunities and deliver to agreed targets.
As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for the following:-
� Provide materials processing experience to troubleshoot production processing problems in the injection moulding facilities
� Identify process optimisation through troubleshooting and data analysis
� Use of contact and non-contact CMM equipment
� Identify improvement projects focusing on reducing waste and cost
� Understand and improve current plant and capacity availabilities
� Manage change through teamwork and Continuous Improvement
� Foreign Travel - Attend Tool trials and sign offs at Suppliers as required
� Train existing machine setters to a standard that delivers required efficiency
� Liaise with customers and suppliers relating to processing issues
� Knowledge of plastic injection mould process
� Lean Manufacturing skills - Ability to train others
� Ability to work under pressure in an automotive manufacturing skills base
� Communications and Interpersonal skills
� Demonstrate the efficiencies and savings incurred through direct process optimisation
