PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER - HAMPSHIRE- c£40,000 - £45,000 p/a
A global Medical Device manufacturing organisation is looking for multiple Process / Project Engineers to join their Technical team, in the Hampshire area on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the typical function of the role is to work within the production department and provide engineering support & technical expertise to various areas to the fast moving automated, high volume manufacturing projects. Responsibilities include providing project support with validation, process engineering, process / continuous improvement, equipment design and build/assist in budget and time line control. The Process / Project Engineer will possess skills in Equipment installation / modification, Commissioning, Qualification & Validation & Lean Manufacturing (strong understanding of Lean / Six Sigma & improvement projects). Candidates must be able to prepare documentation such as FAT, SAT, DOE'S, IQ, OQ, PQ's. In addition to this candidates must be able to problem solve, provide development of improvement plans and root cause-analysis. In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need to be a Degree qualified Engineer within a relevant Engineering discipline. Candidates will also need to have strong experience within a highly regulated and fast moving manufacturing environment. Industries of interest could include: Healthcare, Automotive, Cosmetics, Medical Devices / Pharmaceutical / Aspetic / Sterile / Biotech, FMCG, Food / Drink or similar. The role for a Process / Project Engineer may be suitable for candidates who have held positions such as Process Engineer, Project Engineer, CI Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Production Engineer, Validation Engineer, Process Improvement Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer. The role is based in Hampshire, and is commutable from Winchester, Basingstoke, Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Salisbury, Petersfield and other locations in the Hampshire area.
