Manufacturing Process Engineer
£35K - £39K (DOE)

North Devon

Our client is looked for a skilled Process Engineer who has extensive experience within manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for Identifying and Implementing process improvements to support site KPI's and to justify and manage capital investment proposals to support process improvements.

The suitable candidate:

*Experience / Qualifications in Lean or Continuous Improvement would be highly desirable.

*Scientific / Engineering Degree or equivalent

*Experience within in a similar role

*Previous Experience in a GMP environment

*Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Projects, AutoCAD Inventor, Solid works

*Experience working in a Manufacturing environment is essential.

*Able to demonstrate an aptitude for this highly demanding role.

The role:

*Implement continuous improvements to support site KPI's such as Material Usage Variance, Productivity and On Time Delivery.

*Gather Baseline Data to enable projects to be identified, tracked and to measure sustainment.

*Analyse data, identify issues and lead RCI's (Root cause investigation) as well as own and manage action plans to support these continuous improvement activities.

*Active participation in or lead Operational Excellence activities including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events.

*Provide support to the Value streams.

*Justify and manage Capital expenditure for improvements identified.

*Will Deliver, Chair or Attend meetings when required to do so by the role

*Will prepare and present reports and any statistical information in regard to Process Improvement Activities as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team.

*Any other duties required in support of the Engineering service to the manufacturing operation
