Manpower is partnering with a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer in their search for a Maintenance Manager. Playing a crucial role to deliver improvements and strategy at their top tier COMAH site in the North East, the Maintenance Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that the site is able to perform an efficient manufacturing service.

With a global presence, they have delivered innovative solutions to a range of industries such as automotive and construction. They have a well-established reputation for sustainable, efficient speciality chemicals products and are a market-leader within the sector.

In this pivotal role as Maintenance Manager, your core challenges will include;
*Providing strong leadership and direction to an experienced team of 5, ensuring that site equipment is continually operating at maximum efficiency
*Delivering Process Safety Improvements
*Ensuring that the site is up to date and in line with EHS regulations
*Overseeing the continued implementation and ongoing development of a planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM)
*Assisting with the development of the site HSE plan in line with the location's responsibilities as a top tier COMAH site
*Controlling the maintenance budget whilst identifying areas for CapEx investment or cost-savings
*Providing coaching and mentoring to the Maintenance team, developing a process that eventually leads to World Class Reliability (this is essential due to no stock control facilities being available on site)

*A proven track record of leading a maintenance team within a Chemicals, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical environment
*Proven experience of transforming a manufacturing site from a Reactive Maintenance site to a Preventative Maintenance site
*Strong understanding of COMAH regulations and Process Safety
*In-depth knowledge of SAP maintenance modules or other planned preventative maintenance programmes
*Experience of budget control
*A focus upon Reliability Centred Maintenance (desired)
*Working knowledge of ATEX zoning and regulations (desired)
*A champion for promoting an EHS culture
*Able to strategically plan and execute full lifecycle, cross-functional projects
