You will be working for a large manufacturing business, tasked with using engineering principles to solve existing problems, and discover new ones!
£32000 to £35000
You will be educated to degree level (or be QBE) in either a mechanical or chemical engineering discipline, and have experience of applying these engineering skills within a manufacturing context.
My client is looking to engineer improvements wherever possible across the scope of their organisation. You will be working on multiple projects, sometimes resolving identified faults and sometimes improving the performance of already successful areas.
You should have a scientific mind, and ability to understand engineering problems and an appreciation of the commercial impact – making sure your solutions ultimately are affordable and worthwhile.
You should have developed process improvement methods previously and be conversant with Health and safety requirements, and modern manufacturing techniques (e.g. Lean, 6 sigma)
