£32,000 -£36,000 per annum
37.5 hours a week (flexibility required to work across shift pattern)
Our client is looking for a Process Engineer to join their busy team based in Eastleigh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ownership, development & improvement of all process controls across production.
The Role:
* Develop and maintain process across production
* Ownership of key process parameters e.g MAR recipes, Surfacing Macros and Auto blocking masks
* Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) on site, positively contribute to group CI meetings.
* Support new equipment purchases by developing specifications and technical acceptance criteria
* Optimise existing processes and tools for cycle time and vield
* Work with departmental heads to define strategy for improving capability and capacity across production
* Support employees at all levels of the business
* Establish effective statistical control of processes to ensure a stable and robust processing platform
* Successful delivery of projects and technical management
* Support all research and development initiatives
* Undertake detailed analysis of trends, ensure findings are communicated clearly and in a timely manner
* Involvement and attendance at business meetings off site and on site to understand wider production performance and impact to own role and responsibilities
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn/used appropriately at all times
* Health and safety procedures need to be followed in accordance
* Carry out other duties as requested by the Head of Production
* Full adherence to the 5 C requirements (clear out, configure, clean, control, customise)
Essential:
* Ability to respond positively to working under pressure
* High standards of personal motivation and initiative
* Good interpersonal skills for both internal and external relationships
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
* Results driven
* Flexibility
