Manpower is partnering with leading speciality chemicals manufacturer in their search for a Chemical Engineer. To join the team at their Grimsby facility, the Process Engineer will play a key role in delivering a number of high-value projects across the site.

Well-known for their high quality, innovative speciality chemical products, the business has moved from strength-to-strength in the last few years. The Grimsby site - which is top tier COMAH - is one of their key locations in the UK and manufactures a specialist product that feeds into a range of core markets around the world.

In this pivotal role, your primary challenges as Chemical Engineer will include;
*Contributing to the delivery of a range of projects ranging in size and scope
*Providing expert Process Engineering advice on cross-functional project teams
*Helping to prioritise and coordinate a varied project portfolio that includes plant upgrades, installations and process improvements
*Overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from conception through to commissioning and delivery
*Providing support to the Operational/Manufacturing teams
*Designing plant layouts and working cross-functionally to ensure their timely delivery
*Ensuring that relevant process safety standards are adhered to (such as LOPA, SIL and DSEAR)
*Identifying and initiating process improvement projects to further develop efficiency on the site

You will work closely with an experienced Process Engineering team, who will help to further develop your skills and experience which should already include;
*Degree educated within Chemical Engineering (essential)
*Experience of working within chemical process manufacturing
*Chartered Chemical Engineer [or working towards]
*Ideally experience of working in a COMAH environment
*Demonstrable knowledge of process safety tools such as LOPA and SIL
*Experience of administering EHS systems and procedures for projects and process changes (PUWER, DSEAR, ATEX etc.)
*Ability to build relationships quickly within multi-discipline teams
