Process Engineering Technician
Your new company
Our client is a leading upholstery manufacturer in Colne. The company supplies to industries such as the automotive, healthcare, marine and many more. Due to growth they are looking to take on an Process Engineering Technician.
Your new role
You’ll be the first point of contact for all engineering queries, therefore able to work with a team but also lead. You will need to provide support in fault finding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical faults. You’ll have experience completing maintenance documentation and maintaining records with departmental standards. You must also actively seeking out opportunities for improvement of process plant and equipment. You’ll also be easily adaptable and able to take on any challenge.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll have previous experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment. You’ll have working knowledge and understanding of all relevant British Standards. You’ll be qualified to at least City and Guilds level or equivalent under a modern apprenticeship. Be conversant with RCM and TPM improvement programmes, you will also need to have CAD awareness and be computer and PLC literate. You must also be a confident communicator and have the ability to lead a team.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £35,000 with allowances for overtime. You will receive standard holidays, progression is important to them so this is something they will consider.
