The jobholder will be responsible for contributing to the design and definition of production processes on site as well as continuous improvement of the current processes at mass production stage.
Together with the manufacturing teams the process technician plays an active role in defining and modifying the manufacturing processes in line with the manufacturing demands and constraints. The job holder will be responsible for drafting equipment specification documents; participating in quotation proposals; conducting tests, analysing results and implementing adjustments. The process technician will also assist the manufacturing and logistics teams throughout the analysis and resolutions of quality issues and implementation of the overall procedures and operating instructions.
Working as part of the project team the process technician will be monitoring the project during the development stage, and coordinating failure mode analysis for resources. He / She will also be maintaining technical details of process data and introduce changes when required.
Successful candidate will be expected to be able to work across multidisciplinary teams and at all levels within the company. The process technician will play an important role in the continuous improvement of production processes: production capacity utilisation, waste elimination, implementing improvement strategies and tools.
This opportunity will be best suited for a candidate with a recognised technical science qualification or equivalent on-the-job experience in manufacturing or industrial development.
