The Client
My Client is one of the World`s largest suppliers of automotive technology systems with sites in 15 countries.

The Role 
Provide support to the Mould shop including support of the Technical Team, Operations Team, and/ or Cell Leader. To coach and ensure robot programs, robot heads and TPM are implemented to a standard which can be followed exactly to ensure Right First Time. Focussing on continuous improvement within the team and to promote 5s within the moulding team.

- To understand the QUALITY FIRST philosophy, ensuring quality standards are achieved in terms of Right First Time (RFT). 
- Improve quality of product through liaison with technicians/team leaders/maintenance ensuring all improvements are documented and communicated to the moulding team
- Ensure Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checks are completed and faults are escalated and actioned upon.
- Actively lead and train cycle time/production Kaizen ensuring optimisation of all process
- Actively lead robot/tool and process improvements by liaising with PEN,OPS,MTN,JTD and external contractors
- To ensure robots/ die parts, are checked prior to tool change and JIGs etc.
- Ensure PPE requirements are understood and encouraged within the team
- Perform routine patrols of daily safety checks and regular safety audits, ensure that processes are stopped safely, and the team follow the 3s safety approach. Participate in daily 5s activities.


- Experience of automotive manufacturing and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Minimum of 5 years Moulding experience. 
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering background i.e. qualified by experience.
- Experience of injection moulding/tooling/robotics.
- 7 Axis and Cartesian robots.
- Experience of trouble shooting and problem solving/Tool/robot programing trial NPI and complete process setup.
- Experience of automotive manufacturing and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Well rounded knowledge of Moulding Machine ranges from 60t-1300t.
- Engineering qualification i.e. HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Electrical competence (Level of training and fault finding/Diagnostics) 415v.
