£35 to £47,000pa + bonus & benefits

Our client is an established, dynamic and highly successful shipping and commodities consultancy, based in London. It is widely respected for its forecasting and business advisory services to shipping industries across the globe. Clients include banks, ship-owners, yards, brokers, investors, insurers, government agencies and regulators and service providers. The post holder will help maintain and develop the chemical and gas shipping market models, contribute to written reports and provide analytical support on consultancy projects. Candidates should have a strong academic background including an excellent first degree (or equivalent, in chemical engineering from a leading university. In addition, the appointee will offer established experience as a chemicals or gases analyst focusing on the provision of advisory services and intellectual property to commodity markets such as LNG/LPG/Ammonia or any other refined or petrochemical products/value chains. Our client is not looking for design engineers at this stage. Prior knowledge/experience of the shipping market is not required.
